As for photography, it all started when my dad passed down his beloved 35mm film camera to me when I was in 7th grade—and with it, a love for capturing moments that tell real, honest stories. From that day on, photography became more than a hobby—it became one of the key ways that I creatively see and celebrate people. For over 25 years, I’ve helped clients feel relaxed, confident, and truly themselves in front of the camera.

Along with my faith, my main preoccupation is my family (married for 30+ years, dad to 3 daughters, and the "Alpha" for our six-pound toy poodle). Beyond photography, I've also held numerous positions in local church ministry, sales leadership and management, brand engagement, and volunteer police and fire chaplaincy (currently for the city of Burnsville, MN).

My heart for others and my genuine interest in serving them mean that I bring a warm, fun, encouraging presence to every session while offering clear, natural direction so that every image feels authentic, beautiful, and flattering.
